The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
۞ Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 Who hath created and then proportioned, 2 who determines the nature [of all that exists], and guided it accordingly; 3 It is He who has caused the grass to grow, 4 then made it a blackening wrack. 5 We shall enable thee to recite, and then thou shalt not forget, 6 save what God wills; surely He knows what is spoken aloud and what is hidden. 7 And We will make it easy for thee (to follow) the simple (Path). 8 Therefore do remind, surely reminding does profit. 9 Admonished is he indeed who feareth, 10 And the most unfortunate one will avoid it, 11 Who shall enter the great fire; 12 In which they will then neither die nor live. 13 Indeed successful is the one who became pure. 14 remember the name of the Lord, and pray to Him. 15 But you prefer the present life, 16 Though the life to come is better and abiding. 17 Most surely this is in the earlier scriptures, 18 the Scrolls of Abraham and Moses. 19
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
