The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 Who createth, then disposeth; 2 Who determines and directs, 3 who brought forth the pasturage 4 Then makes it dried up, dust-colored. 5 We shall make you recite (the Qur'an) so that you will not forget it, 6 Except what Allah wills; indeed He knows all the evident and all the concealed. 7 We shall facilitate for you the Easy Way. 8 Therefor remind (men), for of use is the reminder. 9 Those who have fear of God will benefit 10 but the most wretched shall avoid it, 11 Who will enter the Great Fire, 12 In which he will neither die nor live. 13 He has certainly succeeded who purifies himself 14 remember the name of the Lord, and pray to Him. 15 Nay, you prefer the life of this world; 16 although the life to come is better and more enduring. 17 Surely this is in the ancient scrolls, 18 the scriptures of Abraham and Moses. 19
