Al-A'alaa
The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
۞ Glorify the name of thy Guardian-Lord Most High, 1 who creates [every thing,] and thereupon forms it in accordance with what it is meant to be, 2 and who determines the nature [of all that exists,] and thereupon guides it [towards its fulfilment,] 3 who brings forth green pasture, 4 Then maketh it to stubble dusky. 5 [O Prophet!] We shall make you recite the Quran so that you will not forget any of it -- 6 Except as Allah wills: For He knoweth what is manifest and what is hidden. 7 And We shall make easy unto thee the easy way. 8 So remind, if the reminder should benefit; 9 in mind will keep it he who stands in awe [of God,] 10 but the reprobates will turn away 11 The one who will enter the biggest fire. 12 wherein he will neither die nor remain alive. 13 Prosperous is he who has cleansed himself, 14 And magnifies the name of his Lord and prays. 15 But no, you prefer the life of the world, 16 While the hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 Indeed, this is in the former scriptures, 18 the Scrolls of Abraham and Moses. 19
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
