The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 who creates [every thing,] and thereupon forms it in accordance with what it is meant to be, 2 who determined and guided, 3 And Who brings forth herbage, 4 Then maketh it to stubble dusky. 5 We shall make thee recite, to forget not 6 Except what Allah should will. Indeed, He knows what is declared and what is hidden. 7 We shall facilitate for you the Easy Way. 8 Therefore do remind, surely reminding does profit. 9 He who fears [Allah] will be reminded. 10 And the most unfortunate one will avoid it, 11 The one who will enter the biggest fire. 12 Wherein he shall neither die nor live, 13 Lasting happiness will be for those who purify themselves, 14 And recites the name of his Lord and serves with devotion. 15 But you prefer the worldly life, 16 and the world to come is better, and more enduring. 17 Surely this is in the ancient scrolls, 18 the scriptures of Abraham and Moses. 19
