The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ Exalt the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 Who creates, then makes complete, 2 And the One Who kept proper measure and then guided. 3 And Who bringeth out the (green and luscious) pasture, 4 then caused it to wither away. 5 We shall now make you read (O dear Prophet Mohammed peace and blessings be upon him), so you will not forget. 6 except whatever God wills; He knows both what is manifest and what is hidden -- 7 We shall ease you to follow the way of Ease. 8 Therefore do remind, surely reminding does profit. 9 He who fears [God] will heed the reminder, 10 And the most unfortunate one will avoid it, 11 Who will burn in the terrible Fire, 12 Then he neither dies in it, nor lives. 13 To happiness [in the life to come] will indeed attain he who attains to purity [in this world,] 14 And who mentioned the name of his Lord, then offered prayer. 15 Nay (behold), ye prefer the life of this world; 16 Whereas the Hereafter is better and everlasting. 17 Indeed, this is in the former scriptures, 18 the scriptures of Abraham and Moses. 19
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
