The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
۞ GLORIFY THE NAME of your Lord, most high, 1 Who has created (all things) proportionately, 2 Who hath ordained laws. And granted guidance; 3 And Who brings forth herbage, 4 And then doth make it (but) swarthy stubble. 5 We shall now make you read (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), so you will not forget. 6 Except what Allah should will. Indeed, He knows what is declared and what is hidden. 7 We shall ease you to follow the way of Ease. 8 So remind, if the reminder should benefit; 9 The admonition will be received by those who fear (Allah): 10 But the most hapless will flout it, 11 He will be cast into the Great Fire. 12 wherein he will neither die nor remain alive. 13 Surely he will succeed who grows in goodness, 14 And who mentioned the name of his Lord, then offered prayer. 15 But you prefer the present life, 16 But the Hereafter is better and more enduring. 17 This indeed is what is taught in the former scriptures -- 18 The Scriptures of Ibrahim (Abraham) and Musa (Moses). 19
