The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
۞ Exalt the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 who created all things and gave them due proportions, 2 Who measureth, then guideth; 3 It is He who has caused the grass to grow, 4 then turns it into black stubble. 5 We shall enable thee to recite, and then thou shalt not forget, 6 Unless God may please. He knows the visible and knows what is hidden. 7 And We shall make easy for you (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) the easy way (i.e. the doing of righteous deeds). 8 Therefore remind, if the Reminder benefits, 9 He who fears will mind, 10 But the most hapless will flout it, 11 who will roast in the Great Fire, 12 In which he will neither die nor live. 13 He is successful who groweth, 14 remembering his Lord's name and praying. 15 But rather you prefer the life of this world! 16 Although the Hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 Indeed, this is in the former scriptures, 18 The Books of Abraham and Moses. 19
