Al-A'alaa
The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
۞ Glorify the Name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 Who created and proportioned 2 Who hath ordained laws. And granted guidance; 3 Who brings out the pastures 4 Then reduces them to rusty rubbish. 5 [O Prophet!] We shall make you recite the Quran so that you will not forget any of it -- 6 Except what Allah wills; indeed He knows all the evident and all the concealed. 7 And We will make it easy for thee (to follow) the simple (Path). 8 Therefore, keep on preaching as long as it is of benefit. 9 and he who fears shall remember, 10 But it will be avoided by those most unfortunate ones, 11 [He] who will [enter and] burn in the greatest Fire, 12 Neither dying therein nor living. 13 He who purified himself shall prosper, 14 and remembers the Name of his Lord, so he prays. 15 Nay (behold), ye prefer the life of this world; 16 Though the life to come is better and abiding. 17 Verily this is in Writs ancient 18 the Scrolls of Abraham and Moses. 19
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
