The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
۞ Exalt the Name of your Lord, the Highest, 1 who has created and shaped, 2 Who measureth, then guideth; 3 Who bringeth forth the pasturage, 4 Then made it dry and dark. 5 We shall enable thee to recite, and then thou shalt not forget, 6 unless God wills it to be otherwise. He knows all that is made public and all that remains hidden. 7 We shall ease you to follow the way of Ease. 8 Remind, if the reminder can be of benefit. 9 The reminder will be received by him who fears (Allah), 10 But it will be avoided by those most unfortunate ones, 11 He who will be flung to the great Fire 12 then he shall neither die therein, nor live. 13 Prosperous is he who purifies himself, 14 And recites the name of his Lord and serves with devotion. 15 But you prefer the present life, 16 Although the Hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 This is what is written in the ancient heavenly Books, 18 Writs of Ibrahim and Musa. 19
