The All High (Al-A'alaa)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ Glorify the Name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 Who createth, then disposeth; 2 Who measureth, then guideth; 3 And Who bringeth forth the pasturage, 4 Then turneth it to russet stubble. 5 We shall make you recite and then you will not forget, 6 except whatever God wills; He knows both what is manifest and what is hidden -- 7 And We shall make easy for you (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) the easy way (i.e. the doing of righteous deeds). 8 So render good counsel if good counsel will avail. 9 Soon whoever fears will heed advice. 10 But it will be avoided by the wretched, 11 Who will burn in the terrible Fire, 12 Then therein he shall neither live nor die. 13 He is successful who groweth, 14 remembering his Lord's name and praying. 15 But ye prefer the life of this world, 16 Whereas the Hereafter is better and everlasting. 17 This, indeed, was in the ancient Scrolls, 18 In the Books of Ibrahim and Moosa. 19
