The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 Who created and proportioned 2 who determined and guided, 3 The One Who produced pasture. 4 then made it dry dark, flaky stubble, 5 We shall teach you (the Quran) and you will not forget it 6 Except what Allah wills; indeed He knows all the evident and all the concealed. 7 and [thus] shall We make easy for thee the path towards [ultimate] ease. 8 Therefore advise, if advising is beneficial. 9 Admonished is he indeed who feareth, 10 But the most hapless will flout it, 11 Who will enter the great Fire and made to taste its burning, 12 Then he will neither die in it, nor live. 13 He has certainly succeeded who purifies himself 14 and remembers the Name of his Lord, so he prays. 15 Nay (behold), ye prefer the life of this world; 16 and the world to come is better, and more enduring. 17 This is what is written in the ancient heavenly Books, 18 the scrolls of Abraham and Moses. 19
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
