The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ Proclaim the Purity of your Lord, the Supreme. 1 The One Who created, and then made proper. 2 who determines the nature [of all that exists], and guided it accordingly; 3 Who bringeth forth the pasturage, 4 then made it dry dark, flaky stubble, 5 We shall now make you read (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), so you will not forget. 6 unless God wills it to be otherwise. He knows all that is made public and all that remains hidden. 7 We shall ease you to the easy. 8 Therefore give admonition in case the admonition profits (the hearer). 9 The admonition will be received by those who fear (Allah): 10 but aloof from it will remain that most hapless wretch 11 The one who will enter the biggest fire. 12 Neither dying therein nor living. 13 Indeed successful is the one who became pure. 14 And magnifies the name of his Lord and prays. 15 Nay (behold), ye prefer the life of this world; 16 Whereas the Hereafter is better and everlasting. 17 Indeed, this is in the former scriptures, 18 the Scrolls of Abraham and Moses. 19
