The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Exalt the Name of your Lord, the Highest, 1 who created and shaped, 2 Who measureth, then guideth; 3 And Who bringeth out the (green and luscious) pasture, 4 And then doth make it (but) swarthy stubble. 5 We shall make thee read (O Muhammad) so that thou shalt not forget 6 unless God wills it to be otherwise. He knows all that is made public and all that remains hidden. 7 And We will make your way smooth to a state of ease. 8 So remind them if reminder is profitable: 9 Those who have fear of God will benefit 10 but the most wretched shall flout it, 11 He who shall roast into the Great Fire, 12 In which he will neither die nor live. 13 Prosperous is he who purifies himself, 14 who remembers the name of his Lord and prays, shall indeed be successful. 15 Nay (behold), ye prefer the life of this world; 16 although the Hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 Verily this is in Writs ancient 18 The Books of Abraham and Moses. 19
