Al-A'alaa
The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
۞ GLORIFY THE NAME of your Lord, most high, 1 Who creates, then makes complete, 2 Who determines and directs, 3 Who brings out the pastures 4 then made it a blackening wrack. 5 We will make you recite, [O Muhammad], and you will not forget, 6 Save that which Allah willeth. Lo! He knoweth the disclosed and that which still is hidden; 7 And We will ease you toward ease. 8 Therefore do remind, surely reminding does profit. 9 Soon whoever fears will heed advice. 10 but the most wretched shall avoid it, 11 He who will be flung to the great Fire 12 Neither dying therein nor living. 13 Prosperous is he who has cleansed himself, 14 remember the name of the Lord, and pray to Him. 15 But you prefer the worldly life, 16 Whereas the Hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 Lo! This is in the former scrolls. 18 the Scrolls of Abraham and Moses. 19
True are the words of God the Almighty.
