The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
۞ Proclaim the Purity of your Lord, the Supreme. 1 Who hath created and then proportioned, 2 Who determines and directs, 3 Who bringeth forth the pasturage, 4 And then doth make it (but) swarthy stubble. 5 We shall enable thee to recite, and then thou shalt not forget, 6 save what God may will [thee to forget] - for, verily, He [alone] knows all that is open to [man's] perception as well as all that is hidden [from it] 7 and [thus] shall We make easy for thee the path towards [ultimate] ease. 8 Therefor remind (men), for of use is the reminder. 9 and he who fears shall remember, 10 But it will be avoided by the wretched, 11 Who will enter the great Fire and made to taste its burning, 12 Wherein he will neither die (to be in rest) nor live (a good living). 13 He who purified himself shall prosper, 14 who remembers the name of his Lord and prays, shall indeed be successful. 15 But you prefer the life of this world, 16 and the world to come is better, and more enduring. 17 Indeed this is in the former scriptures. 18 the Scrolls of Abraham and Moses. 19
