The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ Hallow thou the name of thine Lord, the Most High, 1 The One Who created, and then made proper. 2 decreed their destinies, and provided them with guidance. 3 It is He who has caused the grass to grow, 4 Then turneth it to russet stubble. 5 We shall now make you read (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), so you will not forget. 6 save what God may will [thee to forget] - for, verily, He [alone] knows all that is open to [man's] perception as well as all that is hidden [from it] 7 And We will ease you toward ease. 8 Wherefore admonish thou; admonition hath surely profited, 9 He who fears (Allah) shall heed it, 10 but the wretched will turn away from it. 11 Who will enter the Great Fire, 12 Wherein he shall neither die nor live, 13 Lasting happiness will be for those who purify themselves, 14 And remembereth the name of his Lord, so prayeth, 15 However, (the disbelievers) prefer the worldly life 16 but the Everlasting Life is better, and more enduring. 17 Verily this is in Writs ancient 18 the scrolls of Abraham and Moses. 19
