The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ Glorify the Name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 who created and shaped, 2 And who destined and [then] guided 3 And Who brings forth herbage, 4 And [then] makes it black stubble. 5 We will make you recite, [O Muhammad], and you will not forget, 6 Unless God may please. He knows the visible and knows what is hidden. 7 And We shall create the means of ease for you. 8 Therefore remind, if the Reminder benefits, 9 He who fears [God] will heed the reminder, 10 And the most wicked will stay away from it. 11 who will roast in the Great Fire, 12 wherein he will neither die nor remain alive. 13 He indeed hath attained bliss who hath cleansed himself, 14 And who remembereth the name of his Lord, and then prayeth. 15 However, (the disbelievers) prefer the worldly life 16 But the Hereafter is better and more enduring. 17 Indeed this is in the former scriptures. 18 In the Books of Ibrahim and Moosa. 19
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
