Al-A'alaa
The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Proclaim the Purity of your Lord, the Supreme. 1 who created all things and gave them due proportions, 2 Who hath ordained laws. And granted guidance; 3 and who brings forth herbage, 4 Then turneth it to russet stubble. 5 We will make you recite, [O Muhammad], and you will not forget, 6 Save that which Allah may will. Verily He knoweth the public and that which is hidden. 7 And We shall create the means of ease for you. 8 Therefore advise, if advising is beneficial. 9 He who fears [God] will heed the reminder, 10 And the most wicked will stay away from it. 11 He will be cast into the Great Fire. 12 Then he neither dies in it, nor lives. 13 He is successful who groweth, 14 remember the name of the Lord, and pray to Him. 15 But you prefer the life of this world, 16 even though the life hereafter will be better and will last forever. 17 This is surely in the earlier Books, 18 The scriptures of Ibrahim and Musa. 19
