The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Hallow thou the name of thine Lord, the Most High, 1 Who has created (everything), and then proportioned it; 2 decreed their destinies, and provided them with guidance. 3 who brought forth the pasturage 4 Then maketh it to stubble dusky. 5 We will make you recite, [O Muhammad], and you will not forget, 6 Except what Allah should will. Indeed, He knows what is declared and what is hidden. 7 And We shall make easy unto thee the easy way. 8 REMIND, THEN, [others of the truth, regardless of] whether this reminding [would seem to] be of use [or not]: 9 He who fears (Allah) shall heed it, 10 But it will be avoided by the wretched, 11 [He] who will [enter and] burn in the greatest Fire, 12 where he will neither die nor live. 13 He who purified himself shall prosper, 14 And remembereth the name of his Lord, so prayeth, 15 Nay, you prefer the life of this world; 16 Though the life to come is better and abiding. 17 Indeed this is in the former scriptures. 18 The scriptures of Ibrahim and Musa. 19
