The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
۞ (Muhammad), glorify the Name of your lord, the Most High, 1 The One Who created, and then made proper. 2 Who measureth, then guideth; 3 and who brings forth herbage, 4 then made it dry dark, flaky stubble, 5 We shall make thee recite, to forget not 6 save what God may will [thee to forget] - for, verily, He [alone] knows all that is open to [man's] perception as well as all that is hidden [from it] 7 And We shall make easy unto thee the easy way. 8 So render good counsel if good counsel will avail. 9 Those who fear will understand. 10 Only the wretch will turn aside, 11 even he who shall roast in the Great Fire, 12 then he shall neither die therein, nor live. 13 He who purified himself shall prosper, 14 And recites the name of his Lord and serves with devotion. 15 But you prefer the worldly life, 16 although the life to come is better and more enduring. 17 Surely, this is in the ancient Scrolls, 18 Writs of Ibrahim and Musa. 19
