The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
۞ Glorify the name of thy Guardian-Lord Most High, 1 Who creates and proportions, 2 decreed their destinies, and provided them with guidance. 3 who brings forth the pastures, 4 And [then] makes it black stubble. 5 We shall enable thee to recite, and then thou shalt not forget, 6 Save that which Allah may will. Verily He knoweth the public and that which is hidden. 7 And We shall make easy unto thee the easy way. 8 Therefore remind, if the Reminder profits, 9 He will heed who feareth, 10 but aloof from it will remain that most hapless wretch 11 even he who shall roast in the Great Fire, 12 Wherein he shall neither die nor live, 13 Prosperous is he who purifies himself, 14 and mentions the Name of his Lord, and prays. 15 Nay! you prefer the life of this world, 16 Whereas the Hereafter is better and everlasting. 17 Lo! This is in the former scrolls. 18 The scriptures of Abraham and Moses. 19
