Al-A'alaa
The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 Who has created (everything), and then proportioned it; 2 who determined and guided, 3 And Who brings out the pasturage, 4 Then reduces them to rusty rubbish. 5 We shall make you to recite (the Quran), so you (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) shall not forget (it), 6 unless God wills it to be otherwise. He knows all that is made public and all that remains hidden. 7 We shall ease you to the easy. 8 Therefore, keep on preaching as long as it is of benefit. 9 and he who fears shall remember, 10 But it will be avoided by the wretched, 11 and suffer the heat of the great fire 12 Wherein he will neither die (to be in rest) nor live (a good living). 13 He is successful who groweth, 14 And remembers (glorifies) the Name of his Lord (worships none but Allah), and prays (five compulsory prayers and Nawafil additional prayers). 15 But you prefer the life of this world, 16 While the hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 Surely this is in the ancient scrolls, 18 The Books of Abraham and Moses. 19

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
