The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
۞ Proclaim the Purity of your Lord, the Supreme. 1 Who created and proportioned 2 Who measureth, then guideth; 3 It is He who has caused the grass to grow, 4 then turns it into black stubble. 5 We will make you recite so you shall not forget, 6 except what Allah should wish. He knows all that is manifest and all that is hidden. 7 and [thus] shall We make easy for thee the path towards [ultimate] ease. 8 So remind, if the reminder should benefit; 9 Admonished is he indeed who feareth, 10 Only the wretch will turn aside, 11 [He] who will [enter and] burn in the greatest Fire, 12 In which he will neither die nor live. 13 Indeed whosoever purifies himself (by avoiding polytheism and accepting Islamic Monotheism) shall achieve success, 14 And glorify the name of their Guardian-Lord, and (lift their hearts) in prayer. 15 No; but you prefer the present life, 16 even though the life hereafter will be better and will last forever. 17 Surely this is in the ancient scrolls, 18 The Books of Abraham and Moses. 19
