The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
۞ Glorify the name of thy Guardian-Lord Most High, 1 Who has created (all things) proportionately, 2 Who determined and guided them, 3 Who brings out the pastures 4 Then maketh it to stubble dusky. 5 We shall enable thee to recite, and then thou shalt not forget, 6 except what Allah wills, surely, He knows all that is (spoken) aloud and what is hidden. 7 We shall facilitate for you the Easy Way. 8 Therefore give admonition in case the admonition profits (the hearer). 9 and he who fears shall remember, 10 But it will be avoided by those most unfortunate ones, 11 he who [in the life to come] shall have to endure the great fire 12 Then he neither dies in it, nor lives. 13 Prosperous is he who has cleansed himself, 14 remember the name of the Lord, and pray to Him. 15 But you prefer the worldly life, 16 and the world to come is better, and more enduring. 17 Verily this is in Writs ancient 18 the Scrolls of Abraham and Moses. 19
