The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
۞ Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 The One Who created, and then made proper. 2 And Who has measured (preordainments for each and everything even to be blessed or wretched); then guided (i.e. showed mankind the right as well as wrong paths, and guided the animals to pasture); 3 And Who bringeth out the (green and luscious) pasture, 4 then made it a blackening wrack. 5 [O Prophet!] We shall make you recite the Quran so that you will not forget any of it -- 6 except whatever God wills; He knows both what is manifest and what is hidden -- 7 And We shall create the means of ease for you. 8 So remind them if reminder is profitable: 9 Those who fear will understand. 10 but aloof from it will remain that most hapless wretch 11 He will be cast into the Great Fire. 12 Neither dying therein nor living. 13 Lasting happiness will be for those who purify themselves, 14 And mentions the name of his Lord and prays. 15 But you prefer the worldly life, 16 While the hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 Most surely this is in the earlier scriptures, 18 Writs of Ibrahim and Musa. 19
