The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
۞ (Muhammad), glorify the Name of your lord, the Most High, 1 Who created and proportioned 2 who has ordained and guided, 3 Who bringeth forth the pasturage, 4 Then makes it dried up, dust-colored. 5 By degrees shall We teach thee to declare (the Message), so thou shalt not forget, 6 Except what Allah wills; indeed He knows all the evident and all the concealed. 7 And We shall ease thy way unto the state of ease. 8 Wherefore admonish thou; admonition hath surely profited, 9 Soon whoever fears will heed advice. 10 But it will be avoided by those most unfortunate ones, 11 The one who will enter the biggest fire. 12 Wherein he shall neither die nor live, 13 Prosperous is he who purifies himself, 14 And remembereth the name of his Lord, so prayeth, 15 Nay, you prefer the life of this world; 16 Whereas the Hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 This indeed is what is taught in the former scriptures -- 18 The Books of Abraham and Moses. 19
