The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Hallow thou the name of thine Lord, the Most High, 1 Who hath created and then proportioned, 2 Who measureth, then guideth; 3 who brings forth green pasture, 4 then caused it to wither away. 5 We shall now make you read (O dear Prophet Mohammed peace and blessings be upon him), so you will not forget. 6 Unless God may please. He knows the visible and knows what is hidden. 7 We shall ease thee unto the Easing. 8 Therefore give admonition in case the admonition profits (the hearer). 9 Those who fear will understand. 10 But the most hapless will flout it, 11 who will enter the Great Fire, 12 Then therein he shall neither live nor die. 13 But those will prosper who purify themselves, 14 and remembers the Name of his Lord, so he prays. 15 But nay, [O men,] you prefer the life of this world, 16 Though the life to come is better and abiding. 17 Verily! This is in the former Scriptures, 18 The Books of Abraham and Moses. 19
Almighty God's Truth.
