The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
۞ Glorify the Name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 who created all things and gave them due proportions, 2 And who destined and [then] guided 3 And Who brings forth herbage, 4 And [then] makes it black stubble. 5 We shall make thee read (O Muhammad) so that thou shalt not forget 6 except what Allah wills, surely, He knows all that is (spoken) aloud and what is hidden. 7 We shall take you slowly towards ease. 8 Therefore remind (men) in case the reminder profits (them). 9 Soon whoever fears will heed advice. 10 But it will be avoided by the wretched, 11 He who will be flung to the great Fire 12 then he shall neither die therein, nor live. 13 Indeed successful is the one who became pure. 14 remembering his Lord's name and praying. 15 Nay, you prefer the life of this world; 16 and the world to come is better, and more enduring. 17 This is surely in the earlier Books, 18 The Books of Abraham and Moses. 19
