Overwhelming (Al-Ghaasheyah)

In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
Hast thou received the story of the Enveloper? 1 Some faces will on that Day be downcast, 2 labouring, toilworn, 3 roasting at a scorching fire, 4 Given water from the boiling spring to drink. 5 They shall have no food except bitter dry thorns 6 which will neither fatten them nor satisfy them. 7 Some faces on that Day will be radiant, 8 Rejoicing over their efforts. 9 In a Garden on high, 10 where they will hear no idle talk, 11 Therein will be a bubbling spring: 12 Therein shall be couches elevated! 13 And cups set at hand. 14 And cushions set in rows, 15 And carpets spread out. 16 Do (these unbelievers) not observe the camels: how they were created? 17 how heaven was lifted up, 18 And at the mountains, how firmly they are reared? 19 And at the earth, how it is outspread? 20 Therefore do remind, for you are only a reminder. 21 thou art not charged to oversee them. 22 But whoso is averse and disbelieveth, 23 him will God cause to suffer the greatest suffering [in the life to come]: 24 To Us they will all return. 25 and verily, It is for Us to call them to account. 26

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
