Overwhelming (Al-Ghaasheyah)
26 verses, revealed in Mecca after Drivers of the Winds (Al-Dhaareyaat) before The Cave (Al-Kahf)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
Has there reached you the report of the Overwhelming [event]? 1 Faces on that Day shall be downcast, 2 be toiling and worn-out; 3 roasting at a scorching fire, 4 watered at a boiling fountain, 5 They will have no food except bitter thorn, 6 Which will neither nourish nor satisfy hunger. 7 (Whereas other) faces on that Day will be joyful, 8 with their striving well-pleased, 9 In a lofty Paradise. 10 hearing there no babble; 11 therein a running fountain, 12 raised couches, 13 and goblets laid out, 14 And arranged carpets. 15 And carpets spread out. 16 What, do they not reflect upon how the camel was created? 17 And the heaven – how it has been raised? 18 And the mountains, how they are firmly fixed, 19 And at the earth - how it is spread out? 20 So, [O Prophet] exhort them: your task is only to exhort, 21 You are not a dictator over them. 22 But whoever turns back and disbelieves, 23 Allah will chastise him with the most terrible chastisement. 24 Indeed, to Us they shall return, 25 Then indeed only upon Us is their reckoning. 26

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
