Overwhelming (Al-Ghaasheyah)
26 verses, revealed in Mecca after Drivers of the Winds (Al-Dhaareyaat) before The Cave (Al-Kahf)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
Has there come to you the narration of the overwhelming (i.e. the Day of Resurrection); 1 On that day the faces of some people will be humbly cast down, 2 toiling [under burdens of sin,] worn out [by fear,] 3 The while they enter the Blazing Fire,- 4 Given to drink of a spring fiercely boiling. 5 No food for them save bitter thorn-fruit 6 Which shall neither nourish nor avail against hunger. 7 Faces on that Day shall be delighted, 8 well-pleased with [the fruit of] their striving, 9 In an elevated garden, 10 Where they shall hear no (word) of vanity: 11 with a flowing spring, 12 [and] there will be thrones [of happiness] raised high, 13 And goblets ready placed! 14 And arranged carpets. 15 and rich carpets levelled out. 16 Will they not regard the camels, how they are created? 17 how heaven was lifted up, 18 how the mountains were hoisted, 19 And how the earth was outstretched? 20 Then remind them! Thou art only a reminder; 21 You are not a warden over them, 22 However, those who turn away and disbelieve, 23 Allah will punish them with the greatest punishment. 24 Truly, to Us is their return; 25 And Ours their reckoning. 26
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.

Notes and Instructions
When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
