Overwhelming (Al-Ghaasheyah)
26 verses, revealed in Mecca after Drivers of the Winds (Al-Dhaareyaat) before The Cave (Al-Kahf)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
Has there reached you the report of the Overwhelming [event]? 1 Some faces, that Day, will be humiliated, 2 Labouring, wearied out, 3 they shall enter a burning Fire 4 watered at a boiling fountain, 5 No food will there be for them but a bitter Dhari' 6 which will neither nourish nor satisfy hunger. 7 [Other] faces, that Day, will show pleasure. 8 Well-pleased because of their striving, 9 They will live in an exalted garden 10 Wherein they will hear no unsuitable speech. 11 Therein is a fountain flowing, 12 and raised couches, 13 Goblets placed (ready), 14 and cushions arrayed in rows, 15 and carpets spread out. 16 Do they not then ponder how the clouds were formed; 17 And the heaven, how it is reared aloft, 18 And the hills, how they are set up? 19 And the earth how it has been spread out? 20 Remind them; you are surely a reminder. 21 you are not their keeper. 22 However, as for him who turns away, being bent on denying the truth, 23 God will punish them with the greatest torment. 24 Lo! unto Us is their return 25 then upon Us shall rest their reckoning. 26
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
End of Surah: Overwhelming (Al-Ghaasheyah). Sent down in Mecca after Drivers of the Winds (Al-Dhaareyaat) before The Cave (Al-Kahf)

When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
