Overwhelming (Al-Ghaasheyah)
26 verses, revealed in Mecca after Drivers of the Winds (Al-Dhaareyaat) before The Cave (Al-Kahf)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
HAS NEWS OF the Overpowering Event reached you? 1 On that day the faces of some people will be humbly cast down, 2 Laboring, toiling, 3 The while they enter the Blazing Fire,- 4 Made to drink water from the boiling hot spring. 5 They will have no food other than bitter and thorny fruit 6 which will neither fatten them nor satisfy them. 7 [Other] faces, that Day, will show pleasure. 8 well-pleased with their striving. 9 in a Garden on high, 10 Where they shall hear no (word) of vanity: 11 Countless springs will flow therein, 12 Within it are couches raised high 13 Goblets set, 14 well-placed cushions, 15 And linen spread out. 16 What, do they not reflect upon how the camel was created? 17 And at the heaven, how it is raised? 18 and how the mountains were firmly fixed? 19 And how the earth was outstretched? 20 Remind them; you are surely a reminder. 21 You are not a dictator over them. 22 But whoso is averse and disbelieveth, 23 Then Allah will punish him with the greatest punishment. 24 Lo! unto Us is their return 25 and then it is for Us to call them to account. 26

كيف تعمل منظومة تمارين الحفظ؟ عند أدنى مستوى 0، تكون كل الكلمات ظاهرة. بينما يُخفي أعلى مستوى 9 كل الكلمات. فكيف تعمل المستويات المتوسطة، مثل 3، على سبيل المثال؟ قد تعتقد بأن المنظومة تخفي 3 من كل تسع كلمات بدقة. ليس تماما! في المستوى 3، لكل كلمة فرصة اختفاء بنسبة 3 من 9، و6 من 9 لتكون ظاهرة. بمعنى آخر، من الممكن، ولكن باحتمال شبة معدوم، أن تكون جميع كلمات المستوى 3 مخفية، أو أن تكون جميعها ظاهرة! وكذلك أيضًا، ففي المستويات المتوسطة، وبما يتناسب مع مستوى الصعوبة، يمكن أن تكون المخابئ غير كاملة أو شفافة جزئيًا بحيث تظهر الكلمات جزئيًا تحتها.
How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
