Overwhelming (Al-Ghaasheyah)

In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
HAS THERE COME unto thee the tiding of the Overshadowing Event? 1 Faces on that Day shall be downcast, 2 Labouring, wearied out, 3 Scorched by burning fire, 4 Made to drink water from the boiling hot spring. 5 For them there will be no food except from a poisonous, thorny plant 6 which will neither nourish nor satisfy hunger. 7 (Other) faces on that day shall be happy, 8 Well-pleased with their endeavour, 9 They will be in a lofty Garden 10 In which they will not hear any lewd speech. 11 Therein shall be a spring running! 12 raised couches, 13 And drinking-cups ready placed, 14 cushions ranged, 15 And carpets ready spread, 16 Then do they not look at the camels - how they are created? 17 and on the sky, how it is raised aloft, 18 and on the mountains, how they are firmly set up, 19 And the earth, how it is made a vast expanse? 20 Admonish thou then; thou art but an admonisher. 21 Thou art not over them a warden. 22 But he who turns his back, and disbelieves, 23 Then Allah will punish him with the greatest punishment. 24 Certainly, it is to Us that they will return. 25 and verily, It is for Us to call them to account. 26

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
