The Town (Al-Balad)
20 verses, revealed in Mecca after Q (Qaaf) before The Comet (Al-Taareq)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
۞ I do call to witness this City;- 1 in which you are now living 2 and I swear by the parent and his offspring: 3 Verily, We have created man into [a life of] pain, toil and trial. 4 Does he think that none has power over him! 5 He saith: I have wasted riches plenteous. 6 Does man think that no one saw him? 7 Have We not appointed to him two eyes, 8 And a tongue and a pair of lips? 9 Have We not shown him the ways of good and evil? 10 But he could not scale the steep ascent. 11 And what shall make thee understand that which the steep is? 12 (It is:) freeing the bondman; 13 Or feeding on a day of severe hunger 14 to an orphan near of kin 15 Or a poor man cleaving to the dust. 16 and to be one of those who believe and urge one another to steadfastness and compassion. 17 These are the people of the right hand. 18 But they who disbelieved in Our signs - those are the companions of the left. 19 with the Fire closed above them. 20
God the Almighty always says the truth.

Notes and Instructions
Read the entire Holy Quran in full color. Pages diversely generate their colors and shapes so that the same scheme never repeats twice. The Quran is the conclusive Final Testament of the One and Only God for all people of all colors and shapes.
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
