The Sun (Al-Shams)
15 verses, revealed in Mecca after Destiny (Al-Qadr) before The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
By the sun and its heat and brightness, 1 By the moon when it followeth it, 2 by the day, when it displays it, 3 And by oath of the night when it hides it 4 And by oath of the heaven and by oath of Him Who made it. 5 And by the earth and Him Who spread it, 6 and by the soul and that (Power) which designed it 7 and inspired it to lewdness and godfearing! 8 He is indeed successful who causeth it to grow, 9 And he has failed who instills it [with corruption]. 10 The Thamud (people) rejected (their prophet) through their inordinate wrong-doing, 11 when the most wicked man among them rose up. 12 The Messenger of God told them, "This is a she-camel, belonging to God. Do not deprive her of her share of water". 13 But they denied him, and they hamstrung her, so Allah doomed them for their sin and rased (their dwellings). 14 And for Him is no fear of its consequences. 15
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
