The Sun (Al-Shams)
15 verses, revealed in Mecca after Destiny (Al-Qadr) before The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
CONSIDER the sun and its radiant brightness, 1 by the moon when it follows the sun, 2 And by oath of the day when it reveals it 3 By the night when it envelopeth it, 4 By the heaven and Him Who builded it, 5 And by the earth and Him Who spread it, 6 By the Soul, and the proportion and order given to it; 7 and inspired it with knowledge of evil and piety, 8 Prosperous is he who purifies it, 9 And he will indeed fail who corrupts it. 10 The Thamud (people) rejected (their prophet) through their inordinate wrong-doing, 11 when the most wretched of them uprose, 12 although God's apostle had told them, "It is a she-camel belonging to God, so let her drink [and do her no harm]!" 13 However, they rejected him and slew her. So their Lord completely destroyed them and their city for their sins. 14 And He fears not its consequence. 15
Almighty God's Truth.

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
توجد تمارين تحفيظ للوضعين العربي الأصلي والعربي المخطوط بأحرف إنجليزية فقط. ولا تحتوي الترجمة الإنجليزية على تمارين حفظ.
There are memorization exercises for the original Arabic and English transliterated Arabic modes only. The English translation mode has no memorization exercises.
