The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By the glorious morning light; 1 And by oath of the night when it covers, 2 Your Lord has not taken leave of you, [O Muhammad], nor has He detested [you]. 3 and the Last shall be better for thee than the First. 4 For your Lord will certainly give you, and you will be content. 5 Did He not find you an orphan and give you shelter? 6 And He found you unaware (of the Quran, its legal laws, and Prophethood, etc.) and guided you? 7 Did He not find you in want, and make you free from want? 8 Therefore, be not harsh with the orphan; 9 Nor repulse the petitioner (unheard); 10 but proclaim the blessings of your Lord. 11
God the Almighty always says the truth.
