Al-Duhaa
The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the forenoon (after sun-rise); 1 and by the night when it covers, 2 your Lord has not forsaken you (Prophet Muhammad), nor does He hate you. 3 What is to come is better for you than what has gone before; 4 Verily your Lord will soon give you so amply that you will be well-pleased. 5 Did He not find you an orphan and take care of you? 6 And He found thee wandering, so He guided thee, 7 And found thee in want, and given thee sufficiency? 8 So as for the orphan, do not oppress [him]. 9 and do not chide the one who asks for help; 10 And as for the favor of your Lord, do announce (it). 11
True are the words of God the Almighty.
