Al-Duhaa
The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By the glorious morning light; 1 And the night when dark and still, 2 Your Lord (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) has neither forsaken you nor hated you. 3 And verily the Hereafter will be better for thee than the present. 4 And your Lord is going to give you, and you will be satisfied. 5 Did He not find thee an orphan and protect (thee)? 6 And He found thee wandering, and He gave thee guidance. 7 And find you in want and make you to be free from want? 8 Do not oppress the orphans 9 nor drive away the one who asks. 10 And abundantly proclaim the favours of your Lord. 11
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
