Al-Duhaa

The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)

In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful

By oath of the late morning, 1 and by the night when it covers the world with peace: 2 Your Lord has not forsaken you, nor has He become displeased, 3 And the Hereafter is better for you than the first [life]. 4 soon you will be gratified with what your Lord will give you. 5 Did He not find you an orphan, so provided you shelter? 6 Did He not find you perplexed, and show you the way? 7 Did He not find you poor and enrich you? 8 So do not oppress the orphan, 9 And as for the petitioner, do not repel [him]. 10 And proclaim the Grace of your Lord (i.e. the Prophethood and all other Graces). 11

Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
