Al-Duhaa
The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
By oath of the late morning, 1 And by the night when it is stillest, 2 Thy Guardian-Lord hath not forsaken thee, nor is He displeased. 3 What is to come is better for you than what has gone before; 4 Thy Lord shall give thee, and thou shalt be satisfied. 5 Has He not found thee an orphan, and given thee shelter? 6 And He found thee wandering, so He guided thee, 7 And He found you poor and made [you] self-sufficient. 8 Therefore, the orphan shalt thou never wrong, 9 And do not rebuke the beggar. 10 And proclaim the Grace of your Lord (i.e. the Prophethood and all other Graces). 11
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
