Al-Duhaa

The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)

In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful

By the bright forenoon, 1 And by the night when it is stillest, 2 Thy Lord has neither forsaken thee nor hates thee 3 The Last shall be better for you than the First. 4 And presently thy Lord shall give unto thee so that thou shalt be well-pleased. 5 Did He not find you an orphan and then gave you shelter? 6 And found you deeply engrossed in His love, so directed you? 7 And find you in want and make you to be free from want? 8 Do not oppress the orphan, 9 and do not reject the beggars 10 And proclaim the Grace of your Lord (i.e. the Prophethood and all other Graces). 11

Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
