Al-Duhaa

The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)

In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful

By the midmorning, 1 By the night when it darkeneth, 2 Your Lord has neither left you, nor despises you. 3 What is to come is better for you than what has gone before; 4 And soon will your Lord give you so that you shall be well pleased. 5 Did He not find you an orphan and then gave you shelter? 6 Did He not find you wandering about and give you guidance? 7 And did He not find you in want, and then enriched you? 8 Therefore do not oppress the orphan. 9 and do not chide the one who asks for help; 10 And keep recounting the favours of your Lord. 11

God the Almighty always says the truth.
