Al-Duhaa
The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
By the morning brightness, 1 And by the night when it is still (or darkens); 2 your Lord has not forsaken you (Prophet Muhammad), nor does He hate you. 3 Indeed what is to come will be better for you than what has gone by. 4 And your Lord is going to give you, and you will be satisfied. 5 Did He not find you as an orphan and give you shelter? 6 Did He not find you wandering about and give you guidance? 7 And find you in want and make you to be free from want? 8 Therefore do not oppress the orphan. 9 and him that seeks [thy] help shalt thou never chide, 10 and proclaim the bounty of your Lord. 11
True are the words of God the Almighty.
