The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
By the midmorning, 1 By the night when it darkeneth, 2 Thy Lord has neither forsaken thee nor hates thee 3 And surely what comes after is better for you than that which has gone before. 4 And soon will your Lord give you so that you shall be well pleased. 5 Did He not find you as an orphan and give you shelter? 6 And He found thee wandering, and He gave thee guidance. 7 And did He not find you in want, and then enriched you? 8 So do not oppress the orphan, 9 And do not drive the beggar away, 10 And as to the favour of thine Lord, discourse thou thereof. 11
