The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
I CALL TO witness the early hours of morning, 1 And the night when dark and still, 2 Thy Lord hath not forsaken thee nor doth He hate thee, 3 And the Hereafter is better for you than the first [life]. 4 And indeed your Lord will soon give you so much that you will be pleased. (Allah seeks to please the Holy Prophet peace and blessings be upon him.) 5 Did He not find thee an orphan and protect (thee)? 6 And found thee lost on thy way, and guided thee? 7 And did He not find you in want, and then enriched you? 8 Therefore, as for the orphan, do not oppress (him). 9 and do not reject the beggars 10 And abundantly proclaim the favours of your Lord. 11
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
