The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
By the midday brightness 1 And by the night when it is stillest, 2 Thy Lord hath not forsaken thee, nor is He displeased. 3 And the Hereafter is better for you than the first [life]. 4 Your Lord will give you, and you will be satisfied. 5 Did He not find you an orphan and give [you] refuge? 6 Did He not find thee wandering and direct (thee)? 7 And found thee in want, and given thee sufficiency? 8 Therefore, treat not the orphan with oppression, 9 And repulse not the beggar; 10 And proclaim the Grace of your Lord (i.e. the Prophethood and all other Graces). 11
