The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the morning brightness 1 And the night when dark and still, 2 (Muhammad), your Lord has not abandoned you (by not sending you His revelation), nor is He displeased with you. 3 And indeed the Hereafter is better for you than the present (life of this world). 4 Your Lord will give you, and you will be satisfied. 5 Did He not find you an orphan and take care of you? 6 And found thee lost on thy way, and guided thee? 7 Did He not find you poor and enrich you? 8 Therefore do not treat the orphan with harshness, 9 and do not chide the one who asks for help; 10 and proclaim the bounties of your Lord. 11
God the Almighty always says the truth.
