Al-Duhaa
The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the bright forenoon, 1 And by the night when it is still (or darkens); 2 (O Prophet), your Lord has neither forsaken you, nor is He displeased. 3 And the Hereafter is better for you than the first [life]. 4 And your Lord is going to give you, and you will be satisfied. 5 Did He not find you an orphan and give you shelter? 6 Did He not find you wandering about and give you guidance? 7 And He found you poor and made [you] self-sufficient. 8 Therefore, as for the orphan, do not oppress (him). 9 and chide not him who asks, 10 and proclaim the bounties of your Lord. 11
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
